I am an art teacher in the UK used to writing comments to
provide pupils with feedback (achievements and targets
with advice).
However, I am fed up with the neck ache obtained through
typing my comments as I failed with my Mavis Beaton?
typing course.
Inspired by the wires hanging from most of my pupils' ears
I have decided to trial recording my comments into a
dictaphone, converting them to MP3 files and uploading
them to my pupils' space on the school network for
transfer to their mp3 players.
Initial feedback has been very positive and some pupils
even seem very surprised that my voice sounds posh.
I was wondering if anyone else has tried this approach as
I want to put a paper together to present to my colleagues
and would be grateful for any 'research' already
undertaken. Any suggestions of other sources of info would
be gratefully received. I would welcome any questions that
you may have about my pilot scheme too.
Thank you
