Hi. Am glad to be new to this, forgive my technology faux pas in advance. While experiencing some back to school blues, I have to complete a course outline for university prerequisite approval for 3D class. I love 3D and have been teaching it for about 5 or 6 years in addition to basic art. Sculpture, Jewelry, fused glass, recently ceramics, weaving-- you name it. I also am looking at a new Davis book that I think should help. I believe my problem is presenting the projects as design problems, I have imbedded alot of art history, yet I feel up against the old art& crafts vs sculpture prejudice. any tips?
